Predicted Order of Finish: A10 Talk (Link)
One of the only websites devoted to the A10, A10talk.com put out their predicted order of finish a few weeks ago. With A10 media day on Tuesday, we felt it was a good time to roll out this link. I’ll leave the rest of the content for those who click the link but will give you the take on the Bonnies (click the link to find out where they like em’ to finish…they deserve the hits). I will say quickly that one point we agree on is that people are really expecting a ton from a URI team that won five league games last season. Could they finish inside the top four of the league? Sure. Will it be easy to go from winning five league games to ten in one year? No. Almost get the feeling that the Rams may have an “in between year” that falls somewhere in the middle of blowing up and being really disappointing…teams don’t learn to win overnight…not usually anyway.
“Mark Schmidt has had these guys competitive in six of his seven seasons at SBU (his only REALLY bad year being his first, 2-14 in conference). I trust he’ll do that again, even with the loss of some solid senior pieces. Ndoye will be a first-team contender.”
Spoiler/Teaser: They like VCU 1st and Fordham last….just like anyone else with an idea about the league.
