St. Bonaventure vs. Rutgers

St. Bonaventure (2-1) will look to rebound after a four point defeat at the hands of the Delaware Blue Hens Friday night. The Bonnies will take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (3-0) at the RAC, one of the more difficult places to play in the Big East Conference. The Brown and White will need to continue to receive big scoring outings from Chris Matthews and John Hall, and hope to get points from Andrew Nicholson, Malcolm Eleby, and the likes of Tyler Benson and D’Lancy Carter. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 PM, and the game can be seen on SNY.

The Bonnies will need to convert from the foul line tomorrow, and sure up their three point shooting defense which allowed an insane 11 threes vs. UDel. Rutgers has some quality guards, and it will be interesting to see if Blackburn and Eleby can keep them in front of them, to stop penetration and kick outs to the corners.

Rutgers holds a 21-17 all time advantage against the Bonnies, dating back to their days in the Atlantic 10.

Rutgers freshman guard Mike Rosario is the player to watch for the Scarlet Knights. The freshman played 35 minutes against Robert Morris, and and was 10-18 from the field Friday night.

This is just a very brief post to kick things off here on the blog, but please visit back soon and enjoy the game!
